An intense and warm moment, a genuine sharing of emotion and culture, which accompanied in beauty and elegance the curtain fall on what remains in my opinion one of the most beautiful exhibitions I ever had.
As a conclusion, in the context of this exhibition at the Couvent des Cordeliers Museum, I would also like to thank Richard Metzger from the DGAC Photo Library Department, who provided me so kindly with a number of exceptional archives, and gave me generously permission to reproduce a selection of them in the scenography of the exhibition, and in the Orly (Sud) "Historique" chapter of this site.
The Air France Museum also contributed to Orly (South) thanks to Véronique Peyraud, by giving me access to the National Airline Museum’s prestigious catalogue with shots that adorned the exhibition’s Wall Modules and Windows.
And finally, I would like to thank my friend Ann Ramirez, a Fashion Designer and Independant Consultant who succeeded with limited resources in making contact with archive suppliers, within difficult deadlines. This in relation to the iconographic research that allowed us to show the exhibition's audience some audiovisual media extracts as much fascinating as rare. This contributed greatly to the restitution of the special magic that the history of Orly airport, of its Control Tower and its South Wing convey.
