David Bowie > Paintings
The "astronaut" visual below is part of the last scene of "Space Cowboys", directed by Clint Eastwood and released in 2000.
This beautiful and moving scene of this bewildering movie evokes, sixteen years before its time, the shot showing Major Tom's dead body lying on the alien planet in the 2016 "Blackstar" video, from the "Blackstar" album, Bowie's last opus before his death. / Use of visual in this context : Fair Use.
The "Bowie"-shaped logotype of "Blackstar" below is by Jonathan Barnbrook / Usage: Fair Use

So rest in peace and thank you, David Bowie, thank you for all your dazzling works, from Space Oddity to Hunky Dory, from Ziggy Stardust to Aladdin Sane, from Diamond Dogs to Station to Station, from Scary Monsters to Black Tie White Noise and Heathen... and especially for the funk and "plastic" chic of Young Americans. Thank you for your genius and your so peculiar ability to have persistently proved us that, yes, Life did exist on Mars, and consequently that you are still alive up there…where, obviously, Somebody Up There Likes You - at least all of us heartily do hope so.
