Apr├Ęs l'Eden (Hiroshima)
Mixed media on paper

Us, tenants of Eden,
Were thrown out
For insubordination by
The Master of the Garden.

We had listened
To the serpent,
We made ourselves
Free of fences,
And then we could tell
The Good from Evil.

The Master Gardener
Had lied though.
It was not a desert
Off Eden's walls,
And flowers did grow there,

We just found out
That species were many,
And saw all the possibilities,
Over the skyline.
And then, joyfully,
we farmed
the Flowers of Evil.
